As a Youth Community, in Miramar Baptist Church, we are working with young people of a variety of ages.
- Intermediates (yr 7-8) "ACTIVATE"
- College Age (yrs 9 – 13) "MOMENTUM"
- Young Adults (school leavers) "RENOVATE"
We want to create a space where young people are comfortable and have a sense of belonging.
We believe that God is real and we want to help them meet with their Creator and grow with Him. Not everyone has the same belief in God and they are welcome but we want the young people to know straight up who we are, what we are about.
As they develop from Intermediates through to Young Adulthood, we attempt to walk with them, socially, emotionally, & spiritually. As we do this, we try to develop a heart to look out for others, locally and overseas.We want to see ALL our young people reach their potential.
During the year, we have a range of events aimed at all three age groups: Intermediates, College Age and Young Adults. These are drug-free / alcohol-free environments to bring mates to - and we’re aiming to do things young people really enjoy but that will grow them also!
